DON'T worry band kids, you have a much better chance of making it in life using your head and heart, instead of your body.
Jace Post #23
DO start learning your lines for drama club as soon as you get the script. Memorizing lines may not feel important when the show date is so far away, but you will regret bringing the show down when it does come.
contwaaaa Post #22
DON'T fight every person that wants to brawl with you. Unless your like an mma fighter you are gonna get in trouble alot and lose alot and get a horrible rep.
K Dub32 #21

Your Mom. #20
DO remember that even if you fight with that skinny little ***** from whatever class, that by tomorrow or next week she'll be fighting about the same *** with some other poor soul. So **** her, and move on. High school is to short to waste on *****es; life even is to short to waste on people who don't agree with you.
Staypositive #19
DON'T get too attached to a guy/girl in highschool. Chances are, you're going to end up hurt.
courtneysays #18
DO laugh often. (Not when the teachers are looking. That can get you into trouble)
laxplaya15 #17
DON'T create drama with a girl from another high school because the guy you're fighting over is not worth it.
mitch b. #16
DON'T single out people who have graduated because they have changed. Just remember than soon enough you will be in their shoes and stuck with some difficult decisions as well.
clowd9 #15
DON'T stop in the middle of the hallway to make out with the person you're dating, especially if you're being in other peoples way while doing so. It makes us want to mule kick the both of you.
BecCuddles #14
DO remember that you are only in highschool and that you have your entire life left to live!!
chuckster #13
DON'T forget that in four years all these people will be gone and you will stay in close contact with at most a dozen of them.
Kikimora #12
DON'T let all of the drama get to you. It may seem important now, but seriously, take a step back, and look at everything objectively.
mzlady621 #11
DO your homework and don't slack off.
Work hard but make a balance between work and play.
SparkyLarky #10
DO Wrap it before you tap it. No fun to have a kid at 15 and it's also no fun to avoid sex till marriage. So if you're going to do it, do it the right way.
Anonymous97 #9
DON'T Focus on GPA. Focus on improvement. Everyone has different needs with education. As long as you show improvement you are doing alright. Grades won't tell you how you will survive in the real world.
Anonymous97 #8
DON'T Complain when you have a tough teacher. Chances are that they are the ones that you will look back and thank them for being hard on you. Plus the real world is probably going to be much worse.

DO Have fun..live life to the fullest ..party it up when your young cuz its not as fun when your older.
Sip615 #6
DO work hard, be kind, be active.
Also, it's good to understand that 90% of the stuff you experience in high school (non academically) is in fact trivial, so don't sweat it.
Sip615 #5
DON'T get discouraged, follow "the trend," get caught up in all the hype.
They're not necessarily the BEST days of your life, there are many better ones to come after, but only if you work hard and stay true.
A lot of the social crap does not matter after you leave.
It's also important to have a small amount of really good friends who care. Don't end up being really popular and realize nobody really cares about you that much after all.

DO remember to get a job as soon as possible. After school activities are awesome, but when it comes to getting that new MP3 player, cool new jacket or even a car; you want to be able to say that you bought those things yourself. You just look like an idiot when mommy and daddy buy you everything. Plus when you're 18 with little to no job history, not many places will want to hire you until you have a college degree and even that has no guarantee.
Anonymous #3
DO Save your money NOW. Not saying to avoid going to the movies or go out to eat with your pals, but when life after high school hits you whether it's college or not, you're going to want to have a good chunk of change sitting around incase shit hits the fan.
Anonymous #2
DON'T drink and drive! It's a simple thing that you will hear all the time, but it's a good thing to follow. It's high school and you're young; you're going to drink that's fine. Chances are most of the adults in your life that tell you not to drink underage didn't listen to their parents about not drinking either, but since they are still around to tell you not to, then chances are they didn't drink and drive.

DO take a vocational class. If your school offers vocational classes, find one that is interesting to you and sign up for it. It gets you the experience of a community college class without paying those awful fees and they are very easy most of the time.
